TAYG and taygified

Hi minions! What type of mood are you in? (I’m not actually looking for an answer, just trying to lead into the subject of this post.) I am in a Taygified mood. You probably don’t know what that means! If you know what TAYG means that would help. Just in case you haven’t heard of TAYG (poor you), I guess I should tell you what that is. ‘TAYG’ (pronounced ‘t-ai-g’)  is one of two abbreviations of hilariously awesome aussie show, ‘Talkin’ ‘bout Your Generation (the second being ‘Your Gen’.) It is officially the most awesome and taygified show EVER! (Also my favourite show)  It’s hosted by Shaun Micallef (hilarious) along with team GENerals, Amanda Kellar for Baby Boomers, comedian/presenter Charlie Pickering for Gen X and comedian Josh Thomas (cutie) for Gen Y. Each week these three are joined by a celebrity from the same generation and compete for some random trophy someone has sent in. (TAYG is a game show/comedy) If you have a lame trophy you don’t want any more you can offer to send it in via the website (link below). It’s on channel ten at 7:30 Tuesday. Watch it – I order you to my Web Minions! (At least one episode. After watching one I won’t be able to stop you watching it!) If you’re too excited to wait for TAYG you can watch it online (http://ten.com.au/talkin-bout-your-generation.htm ). If you live outside Australia (unlikely!), firstly, why on earth are you wasting your time reading my dumb blog? (Thank you, I feel very loved) Secondly, you can try the website but I think you can only watch if your computer’s in Australia (it would be weird if your computer was in Australia and you weren’t), or you can search for TAYG (the unabbreviated version) on You Tube.  Now that you know what TAYG is, I’m sure you want to find out what ‘taygified’ is (Okay, I’m not sure but I hope you still want to know!). Here is a dictionary definition of my made up word.
taygified (pronounced ‘t-ai-g-erf-I-d)  adjective 1. Feeling a combination or excitement, spontaneity, joy, craziness, hyperactivity, and comic thinking often for or to do with Australian television program, ‘Talkin’ ‘bout Your Generation’
2.  A word used to describe something pleasantly hilarious, enjoyable and unique e.g. ‘I thought the new television show was taygified’
Like it? I think it’s an awesome word! Web Minions I order you to use the word ‘taygified’ (when appropriate) and try and get as many people saying it as possible! (But don’t tell my brother. When he said it, I told him not to use the word because it was my word! lol!) If you didn’t like my unusually insane ad for TAYG here is a more sensible (there is nothing sensible about TAYG though) version:
Are your Tuesday evenings a little dull? Yes? Well, flick on over to Channel Ten. Join Silver Logie winner and all round funny man, Shaun Micallef along with Amanda Keller, Charlie Pickering and Josh Thomas in a show that’s fun for the whole family: Talkin’ ‘bout Your Generation! This is the show that dared to mix a quiz show with fads and comedy, resulting in the intergenerational madness that is Your Gen. Shaun and the team GENerals will have you ‘lol’ing from the introduction right up until they come (as they inevitably must) to End Game. You’ll have to fight back the giggles as you watch the Baby Boomers, Generations X and Gen Y battle it out, racing to determining which generation is best! Test your knowledge of the eras all while having a good chortle with your friends and family. No matter what your age, the fun on ‘Talkin’ ‘bout Yuor Generation’ never gets old! Break the generational barrier and ROFLOL all night long – watch ‘Your Gen’, 7:30 Tuesday on Ten (seriously). A ‘Grenada’ production.
That’s all for now I s’pose, minions. Remember what I ordered you - watch TAYG and say taygified. Sayonara (TAYG reference, high five) (I know you can’t give me a high five (or can you?), that’s just something I say when I say something to do with TAYG) Web Minions!
p.s Believe it or not neither Channel Ten nor Grenada are paying me for this post!
p.p.s I wish Ten & Grenada did pay me just to say TAYG!
p.p.p.s I’m going to look up what ‘p.s’ stands for!
