Thurs 29/12/11
Top of the morn' to you all! I'm headed out with the fam again to check out what Nanny's little town has to offer. I'll go into an unnecessarily DETAILED description of that when driving home. I was wondering, should I make a new blog for journalling? If I did, only the people who are REALLY interested (ei. nobody) would have to read them (and others wouldn't have to skim though my posts to find Sunday posts). Thoughts (comment)? Would YOU read more of these obnoxious journal entries (comment also)?
Later (14:17)
Leaving! Bye bye Nanny. I'll miss you! Okay, so here's what happened today:
First of all we headed down to a near by botanical garden to look at turtles in the lake there. (There's also a big amphitheatre there [I'll post a pic of it at the end of my next Sunday post]). The lake was also home to water hens and tadpoles. The turtles were CUTE! Most interesting sport ever = Tadpole Football! (One tadpole would find a little white piece of food and swim away while being chased and run into by other tadpoles until the piece was dropped and caught by another tadpole. This would continue until a larger tadpole got the food and managed to eat it without dropping it. Good stuff!). We went to the strip of shops in town, afterwards. Got to THRIFT! Yay! I found this AWESOME Nightmare Before Christmas shirt and it was official Disney brand! Thennnnnnnnnnn we ate food (at a French restaurant/café). Fun day! I can't wait to get home and post all these! When I arrive back, I going to give my modem a BIGGGGGGGGG hug and then probably spend an hour on Twitter XD Without Internet, I don't know if you've posted suggestions yet but (,if not,) PLEASE DO! xoxo, Didz

Beach Life and Journals
Wed 28/12/11
As a family, we're headed out to a beach (a beach that is likely to be closed [due to treacherous conditions], mind you [could make for quite an adventure!]) today, via ferry. I'm wearing my Emily the Strange singlet today to remind me of adventures. Last night I watched 'Alice in Wonderland' (2010) and thought that maybe I'm looking for adventures in the wrong place. Maybe my DREAMS would be more adventurous! Just a thought.
I'm just back from what my mother is calling an "adventure", but, to the standard of this "journal", wasn't one. The beach was packed and the weather perfect but we steered clear if there. Basically, we caught a ferry, looked at shops, ate fish and chips then caught a ferry home. Despite saying that, it was a LOVELY daytrip. I needed a daytrip. :) It just wasn't an adventure. Adventures are beginning to sound like a lot if work. Maybe I don't want one. I'll go do my 'interesting things' now (13 in honour of Emily :) )
I'm signing off for the day. I read back over my previous entries and thought I should add: DON'T TAKE ANY OF THIS TOO SERIOUSLY! I'm just bored and boring! :D I think the reason I can't find adventure is because I'm LOOKING for it. Perhaps I should stop doing that. Perhaps I shouldn't. Who's to know?!? These journals are boringly pointless (although most of this blog is [well not so much boring {I hope} part but definitely as pointless :P {it fits right in!}]) Another simple thought: maybe instead of just waiting for an adventure, I should DO something to cause an adventure. Sounds dangerous. Goodnight beautiful (or handsome, if you wish) Web Minions! <3 data-blogger-escaped-br=""> P.S. I know nothing about adventures
P.P.S I return home tomorrow which means I can post these journal entries then (after tweeting fanatically, that is)! YAY! Wi-Fi, how I've missed you!

Night Antics and Journals
19:34 now and I've decided to do an interesting things at Nanny's when my camera is charged (just in case I run out of things to post a few weeks from now [I already have an interesting things from Grandma & Pop's house waiting to be published]). I'm going to explore now just to get a headstart. Maybe I'll find adventure along the way.
Shortly After
Nanny's shampoo and conditioner have labels written in Papyrus. I must remember to face then toward the wall when showering. In honour of the one who started all this, Enily the Strange, every list in these journal posts will be 13 items long.
Later (but not be much)
I went into a hysterical laughing fit while playing scrabble. Note: simply looking at other players without breaking stares really throws off their game. ;D

Journals and Adventures
Tue 27/12/11
Hello dearest Web Minion! I am currently located at my Nanny (grandmother)'s house which (catastrophically) has NO WIRELESS INTERNET. (*Controls urge to cry in a corner for the entire length of visit*) To keep myself mildly entertained, I read (the entirety) of the book I got for Christmas, 'Emily the Strange: Stranger and Stranger' (second installment of the series). It was curiously SPECTACULAR (I highly recommend to series [I think Bookworm would find it an amusing alternative to the books he/she usually reads and Bookworm and Emily have an oddly similar writing style). It got me thinking though... Why can't I have an epic adventure? I know that book adventures are quite unrealistic (especially ones about self-duplication!) but, in the next few days, I WILL find or create an adventure. I will be documenting these Emily style but with, no Internet connection, I will have to post all the "journal" entries on Sunday (most likely now or a few days ago by the time you read this). Hopefully I'll have time for a normal post too. (I have googled [helplessly] "How to find adventure" before but without without Internet I will have no such assistance in my attempts.) Signing off (at 19:13), Didzsa

Interesting Things and Holiday Wishes
Yo WBs,
Today I went down a park and challenged myself to find ten interesting things in that park. The list is as follows:
1. Me!
2. A pretty little feather
3. Used party popper
4.An Ideal Vantage Point
5. Perfect place to dump a body
6. Gross rubber glove
7. This... thingy?
8. Cute Birds (they were little sparrow like things and proved far too difficult to photograph)
9. Odd Grasshopper
10. Naked Tree
I hope you liked my little list. I'm sorry for this not being a normal post but I'm still a bit out of it. It's also good to change things up a little from time to time! If you know the location of these pictures, for my safety, could you please not talk about it in the comments. Thanks.
Guess what! There's less than a week left 'til Christmas!!! Do you have any holiday plans (comment)? I probably won't post until after the big day so I wish you a Merry Christmas!!!!! Have a fun time!
Sayonara (TAYG reference [high-five!])!!!!! Cya Web Minions.

Updates and Complaints
My titles are sounding beautiful tonight! Too bad my actual posts SUCK! I'm not very fond of my last post. Well, I love all of it except for the reviews. I can review, I swear (usually...). Off night? (Let's hope!) I am disappointed in myself and frustrated at my unenlightening reviews. I also forgot to make them funny. Let us officially acknowledge that they were terrible. Now we can move on. (What did you think of my AWFUL reviews [comment]?)
The ground is so very hard. Nothing at all interesting has happened as of yet. Mystery and I have given up on interacting. I am bored. The ground is hard. Ouch. I had excepted this to be fun and exciting. There is an ant on my screen. Now it's on my arm. Now it's on my pillow. I can't find the ant. I'll name it Toby. Why am I acting like this at only 1am??? This is an early time for me to doze off. I am very awake though.
To make up for my terrible posts today... wait! It's Monday. I usually post on Sunday. Lol! Anyway... To make up for the terrible posts so far today, I will post another full post later today that will hopefully be less atrocious. Good bye (for now).

Tents and Television
Why hello there! What are the chances of us meeting here (likely considering this is MY blog yet very unlikely considering us meeting here would require you to read my blog. In conclusion, it would be both likely and unlikely [unless you're Bookworm, in which case it would be simply likely). What do you think of the weather lately? (It's slightly sarcastic with a good chane of A: indifference and B: disinterest in what the critics say! [If you get the reference, let's get married!]) With conversations like this, it's no wonder why people (note the plural) aren't reading this!
I thank you kindly, Bookworm for your last minute suggestions! I was beginning to think I would have to think of my own idea ( a daunting task)!
Before I continue this post, I ought to tell you that I am currently in a tent. That's right! I am undertaking a dare as I type this paragraph! I'm not going it alone though. Placed awkwardly beside me (this being a one person tent) is Mystery.
I would like to take a moment to introduce Mystery. This is my anonymous companion (biffle? bf/gf? relation? Stayed tuned to find out!).
Btw, the only reason I chose to complete the 'sleep in your backyard' option is because (without my knowledge) a camp out was already arranged for tonight! (How oddly convenient!)
Hmmm... TV, TV, TV... Well, as is your wish, I do plan to mention (I so very nearly typed 'talk about'! Will I ever learn?) Television in this post (ad suggested by the title) but I have no idea where to start. The truth is as follows: I haven't been watching much TV lately. Actually that isn't true at all ( I'm sorry for lying twice). I watch a great deal of TV but I do not pay a great deal of attention to it. Usually while watching TV (unless it's SYTYCD), I'm thinking of other things, tweeting, watching YouTube, chatting, tweeting, checking Facebook, making crafts, tweeting, plotting, listening to music, tweeting, googling, tweeting, checking trending topics on Twitter, reading tweets or tweeting. This (I assume) will prove more difficult than first anticipated.
I just remembered that incredible alliteration that graces this post's title! Web Minion(s), I order you to praise my alliteration skills! In advance, you're too kind! Thankyou!
Television... I know. I will give a VERY short review to my favourite shows from different genres! Here goes nothing! (That saying is stupid ["here goes nothing"]! I mean, it's obviously something and if it were nothing, how would it be going?)
Gameshow: Hmm... I wonder what that might be...! *sarcastically* TAYG!!! (duh!) That I have already reviewed. You should know that!
Reality Show: I unashamedly admit that I like reality TV. GASP SHOCK HORROR! Yeah, I know. But, let's be honest, you probably secretly enjoy it too! Back to the point...
So You Think You Can Dance - This would have to be my favourite currently airing show. It doesn't really matter which country the season is based in (US is better though [just saying]), there will always be awe-inspiring performances. Weeke after week, I am left with goosebumps at the routines pulled out. The choreography on this show is perfect as are the competing dancers. SYTYCD is bringing much deserved popularity to the shunned art of dance.
Animation:
Total Drama Island/Action/World Tour-
Total Drama is everything we wish Reality TV could legally be! If you took Survivor, made it funny, took the challenges to extreme and smacked it over the head until it was insane, you would get Total Drama. There's also something about the characters that makes you want to either love or hate them! If you haven't seen the program, CHECK IT OUT! (Free advertising...) It's simply side-splitting!
Comedy: Hamish and Andy's Gap Year - What's more funny than watching two guys find adventure and go about it completely cluelessly? I can't really describe to humour of the duo. I'll try, none this less! Their jokes and skits are mix of 'so stupid it's funny', natural hilarity and extremely quick wit. It. Is. FUNNY!!!!!
Drama: Glee - Although I haven't watched the first series or any of the latest episodes, I would have say that Glee is my favourite Drama. Despite it technically being either a comedy or musical, it is the only show I like with an actual story-line/ that isn't pure laughs. This show flows so seamlessly between all three of these genres which if one of the good things about it. Also, it was designed to be relatable and it shows. I can not think of any more to say. You see, it's 0:35 and I'm not very creative at this hour. Correction, I am most creative late in the night and in the early hours if the morning but I am not a very productive or creative person.
I had planned to touch on another subject but I feel obliged to actually interact with Mystery.
BBBBBYYYYYYEEEEE!!!!! Remember Web Minions, praise my alliteration, suggest an era for me to review (I'll do a proper, in depth and educated review for that though. I have been VERY randomly tired today which is why I have word block. I apologise.) and please suggest another dare (if you can [like, no pressure). Also, could you give me 'to do' ideas because my holidays have been boring (due to my boringness).
CYA! I LOVE YOU! FARWELL! I will keep posting little snippets of randomness tonigt. This being my blog dare and all. Bye. I shall return very soon. Bye. Bye. Seriously, bye,
Bye! :P

Apps and Convenience
Oh! There is an apple app for blogger. Why was I not alerted of this before? If I were alerted prior, I would not have missed so many posts. How convenient! You can expect a lot more little random updates such as this! (If you don't want random post such as this [and the previous post], do tell me!) P.S if you've just arrived and you're very confused by all these posts, be sure to go back and read the two previous posts. Yes. There are 3 posts this week. You are lucky.) CYA SUNDAY (or possibly sooner)!

Post Offices and Pipework
Hihi, I'm back.
One of my goals for these holidays is to begin work on one of my novels. The "begin" part is already achieve but I've only written 1277 words so far! Some chapter book! Before I continue work, I wanted to know if people would be interested in the story and what changes I could make, in general. Without further a do, I present to you the first 2 paragraphs of my novel, 'The Clock Maker's Daughter:
Scampering down the cobblestone street ran a young girl with her skirts, cut to fall no further than her knees, hoisted up in her hands as she sprinted. Onlooking women tittered at the sight of the youth’s bare calves. However, her tightly coiled ringlets spoke of wealth and respectable status, greatly confusing the ladies lining the street. Running toward the city’s heart was a very curious little lady. The Post Office was clear in view by the time Cora slowed to a skip. It was a large building. Post Offices aren’t often built to be pretty and this structure was no exception. Though constructed with only practicality in mind, there was an odd beauty to the red brick, box like building with copper pipes snaking around every inch of it. The girl danced up the grand staircase leading toward the three glass doors in the red brick of the building. Pushing through the bustling crowd of workers, young boys on errands and fine gentlemen, gathered on the staircase, she came to the main door. She pressed the brass button next to the door and then listened as gears clicked and whirred from within the wall. The only impractical aspect of the Post Office was its automated doors. When the door eventually opened, Cora and a gaggle of impatient men filed into the Post Office.
So, what do you think? Would you be intrigued to read more of that book. Please leave criticisms and opinions in the comments below because it would be very helpful for more and your comments make me happy! :) BYE! (I still love you) (Btw, the novel is aimed at Young Adults [teens])

Catastrophic Cases and Very Little Else
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey Web Minions,
It's been AGES since I posted. I kept promising to post any never got up to it because, frankly, nothing really interesting has happened over the course of my holiday so far. As this is the introductory paragraph obliged to make polite conversation with you, as is my habit (did I mention that in the habit post?) So: How have you been in my absence? Are you well? Can you forgive me? That's good (or is it...)
Mooooooooooooooooooving on to my first (and only) subject: catastrophic cases. Well, to be perfectly honest, these "cases" are not catastrophic at all but it makes my blog sound interesting or somewhat important :) Firstly, I have misplaced something very dear to my heart; my 101 Things book is GONE! Disappeared, nowhere to be found, gone without a trace! *cue tears* (That's another reason I haven't been able to post.) I am guttered by the loss. I am also determined to find it. Unfortunately, I have no place to start looking. I'd best make some educated guesses.
10 Places Where my Book Could Possibly Be (However Unlikely)
Now to address catastrophic case numero 2. Remember my fiance, Sam? Well, *sniff* I have some sad news. This is very hard for me to talk about. Sam deflated. If I sometimes forget to post, that is probably why. Please understand that this is a hard time for me, losing a loved one and all. At least I have my loving family (and hopefully you guy[s]) there for me. Jk, I'll just buy another cactus and pretend it's Sam! Maybe you could get me one for Christmas...
(btw, this is [correction, *was] Sam
CHRISTMAS! Oh my! It's nearly Christmas. If you're not Christian, sorry. I haven't talked religion on this blog before but I can;t help but mention Christmas. It is a little rude, though, how Christians shove their holiday in everyone's faces (with decorations, shop sales, in media [movies, tv, magazines]). If you're Christian (or perhaps even not [as many atheists celebrate a commercial Christmas), are you excited for Christmas? Any plans? Do you have a wishlist? I'll leave my EXTREMELY greedy wishlist in the comments and, if you choose, you may do the same.
I have a scheme. My scheme is as follows: to extend my reign over every social networking platform possible before the end of the holidays! I've already told you about my Tweeter ( http://twitter.com/#!/didzsa22 ) and Fb ( http://www.facebook.com/pages/Didzsa/233742373305819 ) so it's time to take on YOUTUBE! I must admit that I have an obsession and unhealthy fascination with YouTube. I love acting and writing so the format would suit me. I have written a few scripts and planned out many videos already. My plan for YouTube is flawless (like Spencer [not THAT flawless though]) apart from one thing: I'm not allowed YouTube. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! My dreams of becoming a YouTube celebrity just like my personal obsessions, Smosh and Shane Dawson, were temporarily crushed. However, I am now speeding down a railroad of determination and dedication so I WILL get YouTube before the end of the holidays. I was also thinking of giving myself (Didzsa) a Facebook profile but then I realized I don't like Facebook (because my heart belongs to Twitter). Apologies to Bookworm for talking (typing [I'm such an idiot] I meant typing) about social networking, a subject which couldn't interest you less (I assume), for so very long.
As revealed in the title, there is very little else for me to talk about. Unfortunately, I am so un-creative that only you can change that! My last tactic of saying (typing! Dallon Christ, I did it again!!!), "Give my anything to review!" (but not in that exact words [or maybe it was]) didn't really work out. For this week: tell me what YouTube video I should review (sorry about that Bookworm but I think you'll enjoy next week's) and start thinking about what you're going to type (I got it right!) next week when I ask what era I should reveiw! I ORDER YOU TO MY WEB MINIONS! (It's been too long since I last typed [got it]) that!) Even though I haven't got my '101 Things' book (aka Old & Boring), please leave a suggestion of one "thing" that I should complete this week.
As per usual, my stream of pointless topic to chat pointlessly about has been blocked by the dam of unoriginality. REMEMBER my beautifully perfect Web Minions, forgive me, help my look for my book, leave a wishlist (if you want [maybe I'll post you an imaginary copy of something you really want through the internet]) and LEAVE ME SUGGESTIONS BECAUSE I'M A BORING AND BORED PERSON. (Yes, i was yelling (metaphorically) with that CAPS LOCKS. (That there however was not metaphorical yelling. It was merely a demonstration of caps lock.)
OH pilsnering firetruck (I swear too much)! I forgot to be funny. :/ Never mind. Byyyyyyyyyyyye (I don't know why I was draaaaaaaaagging my letters randomly in this post.) ! I love you. I truly do. Thankyou for reading my posts. To be honest, it doesn't matter to me if 1 person is reading this or 100. All that matters is there is someone out there how cares what I have to say and bothers to put up with my every now and then, when I finally post. LOTS of gooey love from Didzsa :P Sayonara (TAYG reference [hi-five!]) (I ought to excitedly inform you that TAYG might be returning [or already has returned with me noticed {if this is true, please inform me}] because on their fb page, they asked for trophies! *does happy dance* eeeeep!)
Even more gooey love,
Didzsa <3
- the location of "My Country Vacation" :'(
- on my bookshelf
- in a parallel universe (quite likely)
- in the wild, undiscovered depths of my cupboard (dunt dunt DUNT!!!)
- exactly where I left it (wherever that may be)
- in a luggage bag
- in one of my handbags
- in the garage
- stolen by LaLaLally or sox145rox (my siblings)
- I ATE IT! (For that statement to make sense, I must explain a real life habit of mine. For some reason that is unknown to me, often when people ask questions such as, "Where is my...? or "Have you seen...?", I answer with, "I ATE IT!" I have simply no idea where and how this habit began [I've been doing it for less than a year though]
