Why hello there! What are the chances of us meeting here (likely considering this is MY blog yet very unlikely considering us meeting here would require you to read my blog. In conclusion, it would be both likely and unlikely [unless you're Bookworm, in which case it would be simply likely). What do you think of the weather lately? (It's slightly sarcastic with a good chane of A: indifference and B: disinterest in what the critics say! [If you get the reference, let's get married!]) With conversations like this, it's no wonder why people (note the plural) aren't reading this!
I thank you kindly, Bookworm for your last minute suggestions! I was beginning to think I would have to think of my own idea ( a daunting task)!
Before I continue this post, I ought to tell you that I am currently in a tent. That's right! I am undertaking a dare as I type this paragraph! I'm not going it alone though. Placed awkwardly beside me (this being a one person tent) is Mystery.
I would like to take a moment to introduce Mystery. This is my anonymous companion (biffle? bf/gf? relation? Stayed tuned to find out!).
Btw, the only reason I chose to complete the 'sleep in your backyard' option is because (without my knowledge) a camp out was already arranged for tonight! (How oddly convenient!)
Hmmm... TV, TV, TV... Well, as is your wish, I do plan to mention (I so very nearly typed 'talk about'! Will I ever learn?) Television in this post (ad suggested by the title) but I have no idea where to start. The truth is as follows: I haven't been watching much TV lately. Actually that isn't true at all ( I'm sorry for lying twice). I watch a great deal of TV but I do not pay a great deal of attention to it. Usually while watching TV (unless it's SYTYCD), I'm thinking of other things, tweeting, watching YouTube, chatting, tweeting, checking Facebook, making crafts, tweeting, plotting, listening to music, tweeting, googling, tweeting, checking trending topics on Twitter, reading tweets or tweeting. This (I assume) will prove more difficult than first anticipated.
I just remembered that incredible alliteration that graces this post's title! Web Minion(s), I order you to praise my alliteration skills! In advance, you're too kind! Thankyou!
Television... I know. I will give a VERY short review to my favourite shows from different genres! Here goes nothing! (That saying is stupid ["here goes nothing"]! I mean, it's obviously something and if it were nothing, how would it be going?)
Gameshow: Hmm... I wonder what that might be...! *sarcastically* TAYG!!! (duh!) That I have already reviewed. You should know that!
Reality Show: I unashamedly admit that I like reality TV. GASP SHOCK HORROR! Yeah, I know. But, let's be honest, you probably secretly enjoy it too! Back to the point...
So You Think You Can Dance - This would have to be my favourite currently airing show. It doesn't really matter which country the season is based in (US is better though [just saying]), there will always be awe-inspiring performances. Weeke after week, I am left with goosebumps at the routines pulled out. The choreography on this show is perfect as are the competing dancers. SYTYCD is bringing much deserved popularity to the shunned art of dance.
Animation:
Total Drama Island/Action/World Tour-
Total Drama is everything we wish Reality TV could legally be! If you took Survivor, made it funny, took the challenges to extreme and smacked it over the head until it was insane, you would get Total Drama. There's also something about the characters that makes you want to either love or hate them! If you haven't seen the program, CHECK IT OUT! (Free advertising...) It's simply side-splitting!
Comedy: Hamish and Andy's Gap Year - What's more funny than watching two guys find adventure and go about it completely cluelessly? I can't really describe to humour of the duo. I'll try, none this less! Their jokes and skits are mix of 'so stupid it's funny', natural hilarity and extremely quick wit. It. Is. FUNNY!!!!!
Drama: Glee - Although I haven't watched the first series or any of the latest episodes, I would have say that Glee is my favourite Drama. Despite it technically being either a comedy or musical, it is the only show I like with an actual story-line/ that isn't pure laughs. This show flows so seamlessly between all three of these genres which if one of the good things about it. Also, it was designed to be relatable and it shows. I can not think of any more to say. You see, it's 0:35 and I'm not very creative at this hour. Correction, I am most creative late in the night and in the early hours if the morning but I am not a very productive or creative person.
I had planned to touch on another subject but I feel obliged to actually interact with Mystery.
BBBBBYYYYYYEEEEE!!!!! Remember Web Minions, praise my alliteration, suggest an era for me to review (I'll do a proper, in depth and educated review for that though. I have been VERY randomly tired today which is why I have word block. I apologise.) and please suggest another dare (if you can [like, no pressure). Also, could you give me 'to do' ideas because my holidays have been boring (due to my boringness).
CYA! I LOVE YOU! FARWELL! I will keep posting little snippets of randomness tonigt. This being my blog dare and all. Bye. I shall return very soon. Bye. Bye. Seriously, bye,
Bye! :P
Thank-you; and I will comment further later...
ReplyDeleteSorry, but I am (almost) literally being pulled out the door, so adieu!
Merry Christmas
